With my complicated health issues and diagnoses, I completely lost myself for almost a year. During the first meeting with Julie, she sat with me for close to 2 hours and listened to everything I had to say to get a feel for what I needed help with. She was able to take my issues from the past five or so years and put a plan in motion. She created a binder that travels with Julie and I to each and every doctor's visit and all procedures. Being 77 yrs. old with physical infirmities, and also completely alone, Julie was recommended to me by one of my most revered doctors who worked with her for many years. Thus, with that terrific recommendation plus my subsequent wonderful conversations with Julie, I then jumped at the chance to hire her! Therefore and recently, Julie has taken me to my cataract surgery (staying at the surgery center throughout), and then brought me home (staying with me more hours, making sure that I was okay to be left alone). Also the next day, she took me to my post-op appointment. And in the coming months, Julie will be taking me to another, more difficult medical procedure. Julie is not just extremely professional, knowledgeable and savvy, but she is also caring, thoughtful, supportive, and interested in you and how you are doing. What a blessing it has been to work with Julie and Debbie as partners in my recovery from knee replacement surgery! They are both very experienced RNs who recognize the need of patients for help keeping track of medical procedures, medicine changes, lab trends, MD orders. In addition, they are willing and able to accompany me to physical therapy appointments (and other medical procedures) and explain and reinforce therapy expectations and MD orders.
